Welcome To Dejavu
This game follows a character named "Emmet" who is one night awakened by what he believes to be a cold sweat. After cleaning himself off, he realizes it was so much more than that and finds himself reliving one of the most important parts of his childhood. This will be one of the most valuable experiences he will make that will be life-altering. The only thing he doesn't know is if this will have a positive or negative impact and is terrified to find out.
Note: This is just the first version of this story! We plan on polishing and creating more content around this game to hopefully give the players a better experience and even story line! Again we appreciate any and all support and hope to see you return for more <3

The style for the walkaround segments is so delightful. Loved the vibes of this lil game! <3
this was so very cool and amazing! the art is so nice and you can really feel the atmosphere! Same with the music, very calm and somber. I loveeee Judas and I was happy in my end they'll be able to work it out.

god I'm so in love with how this came out. I still have yet to play it once more, but i can't help but excitedly type out my thoughts.
First off, the artwork for this game is PHENOMENAL. The portraits, sprites, and use of color.. the texture in the environment.. the gritty look of the whole thing.. everything pieces together so beautifully.
The animation for the sprites are also so cute. It brings so much life to them and their respective designs (look at how Emmets hair and sweater ties bounce! silly cowardly thing..)
I also appreciate the sound design so much. Simple, effective, beautiful, and atmospheric. The game doesn't feel devoid of sound, but the music and sound effects are also not overbearing. I am also a huge sucker for the sound of each character's "voice" - it adds so much personality!
And lastly, I must thank you for addressing the topic that you have within this game. It's soul crushing yet relatable - and Lord, does it allow me to feel for these characters so much within such a short amount of time. The guilt, grief, disgust - it's all so well written and well shown throughout the game (both through environmental tells and dialogue).
I lack the vocabulary to properly articulate just how much I love and appreciate this game. Thank you for providing such an amazing short story filled with so much love :)
